You can hide the Layer Slider with the help of screen options and create another one with smaller images to be shown on mobile.

The difference is that from the product list, the product is added to the cart via the ajax call and on the single product page the page reloads or redirects to the cart page or to the sale page that you have configured.

Layer Slider is not written by Enfold and do we are not in the position to add functionality to it. You might want to ask the Layer Slider team for the feature.
