Well, not sure about that part being added. You can add the child theme and make all customizations there, this way you’ll not lose any changes you’ve made.

I see not 500 error in your log file only the warning, which does not really break things.

This often happens when there is a header.php file in the child theme and it has not been updated with a fresh copy. Please check for it.

There was an issue with the fallback menu in older versions of the theme. It is resolved in the later versions. You can either update the theme to the latest version or create a menu in Appearance > Menus and assign it as Enfold main menu.
