Well, if none of the Enfold sliders work for you, you might want to look at slider plugins which available out there.

Yes, you can edit that file and also you can move it to the child theme, make changes there and this way you will not have to make changed every time the theme has been updated.

There is no need to add the spans inside the h4 or h3 tags in the promo box.
You can try this code:

The editor on the blog posts is adding the empty p’s. You might want to disable it:

I cannot see any errors anywhere but the front page does not look right.

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

Also, please try to rename the old enfold folder via FTP and make a new one and upload the fresh version on the theme.

For the min-height it is better to have the value in px, not in %. Please try using the code like this:

Hi Christian,

The issue happens with some hosting providers, you can try uploading the theme via FTP. We do not know the details of your server env and so it is hard to tell why it is not working. The license is the key that you use to generate the token and add it to the Theme Options.

The theme should install fine via FTP. Do you need help with that?
