You need to disable the shrinking header, it can still be sticky but not shrinking.

I just commented the code out, but you need to remove it. Maybe someone put it there by mistake, instead of putting it to the functions.php file.

What do you mean by “the issue with the left margin”? Well, the merging issue is important, it shows that something is not working as it should on your server configuration or with the plugins.

Do you mean you want the slider captions to stay at 1/3 of the 1310px or you want the boxed layout for the website?
