Thanks, Rikard – I will experiment further, but it sounds as though you are saying only the post’s excerpt or read more button will be displayed on the category archive page, is that correct?

When using the visual editor, my hope is that my posts might look the same on both the single post page and the category archive page. Adding an excerpt will not help in this regard.

Currently, the only way I can get the category archive display to look like the single post page is to avoid using the visual editor, but then I lose the layout capabilities.
