Hi Mark,
Thanks for that. I tried changing the email to my own in your contact form, and I got the message. It did end up in my spam mail though, maybe that is the case on your end too? I used an @gmail.com email when testing.
Best regards,

Great, I’m glad that Mike could help you out. I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now then, since the problem is solved.
Happy new year to you too :-)
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the login details. You have this CSS added in Quick CSS which is hiding the menu items:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) { .menu-item { display: none; } }Please remove that CSS, or alter it so that it only targets the elements which you want to remove.

RikardJanuary 3, 2021 at 4:46 am in reply to: blog post front end doesn't update after editing backend #1270034Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the login details. In which of your posts are you having this problem? Did you try to clear the cache from your caching plugin, or leave it deactivated to see if that changes anything?
Best regards,
RikardHi Keith,
Thanks for the update. The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
If you want to keep the old version, then you can upload the new version to a new folder folder using FTP, then rename the old folder to enfold_old for example, and then new one to simply enfold. That way you can check if everything works as it should. If not then you can rename the folders again in order to activate the old version back.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
RikardHi David,
Thanks for the update. I tried logging into your site, but the login page redirects to the home page. Could you send us the direct URL to your login page please?
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. It was likely only something temporary on my end, but I’m glad to hear that everything is working as it should on your end.
Best regards,
RikardHi Andreas,
Thanks for that. The web version of FTP is working, and I set the theme folder to the 775 permission. After that the icons on your site is working. I couldn’t check the builder though, since the backend of your site is not loading on my end for some reason. Could you check that everything is working as it should on your end please?
Best regards,
RikardHey 82david82,
Please check the screenshot in private for what I see on my end, it looks centered there. Did you manage to find a solution? If not then please try to explain the problem a bit further, or post a screenshot highlighting it.
Best regards,
RikardHey 82david82,
You are welcome to have your opinion on the matter, but that is what we have been doing since we started this business. Like you said; everyone needs some time off. This time of year gives us a chance to clear the support queue, and start the year with a clean slate. You are welcome back on the support forum tomorrow.
Best regards,
RikardHi David,

RikardHi Mark,
Thanks for the update. The details are still not working though, please see private.

RikardHi Bob,
Great, just let us know here if you should need help with anything.
Best regards,
RikardHi Andreas,
Thanks for the update. The FTP details don’t seem to work, please see private. Could you check and verify that they are working please?
Also, what exactly do you mean by the quote in private?
Best regards,
RikardHi Bob,
Could you try reaching out the person who actually bought the license, to see if they can give you access please? If you can’t get access, then I would recommend that you purchase a license of your own. Otherwise you will have this problem every time you want to update, or need access to the theme files.
Once you have access the theme files then the update to 4.7.6.4 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

RikardHi,
Thanks for that, I see the same problem on my end. Could you post FTP login details in private as well please? It’s likely that the theme folder has the wrong permission settings on the server.
Best regards,
RikardHey Daniel,
Sorry for the problem. We can’t provide you with those details unfortunately, since only the account which bought the actual license has access to them. Could you try reaching out to the agency to see if they can give you access maybe? If not then I would recommend that you purchase your own license, otherwise you will have this problem every time you want to update the theme, or need access to the theme files.
Best regards,
RikardHi,

RikardHi,
Great, I’m glad that you got things working. This problem will be fixed in the next release of the theme, and you can delete the plugin in question once the new version is installed.

RikardHey Christian,
Sorry for the problem. Please try installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/, then set the jQuery version to 1.12.4 in the plugin option. This is a temporary solution until the next version of the theme is available.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. You are getting a 403 error on the font file, that means that the server is blocking access to the file. Please see private for example of URL. Could you try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can tell you why the server is responding in that way please? We can have a look for you as well, if you include FTP and admin WordPress login details with your next reply.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
