Sorry for the problem, this was introduced with the latest Enfold update unfortunately. I don’t have a solution to offer you at the moment, so if you want to roll back to 4.8.3 then it might be a good idea. I will post any solutions we come up with here, just in case.

Sorry about the problem, this was introduced with the last theme update. We have a fix for it already, but the login details you posted are not working, so I couldn’t add it to your site:

Error: The username Enfold is not registered on this site. If you are unsure of your username, try your email address instead.

Please post working WordPress login details in your next reply, and make sure that the Appearance->Theme Editor functionality is active on your site. If not, then please include FTP login details as well.

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please create a test page where we can see the actual problem, as it looks like you have manually added the colour in question to most of the text on the front page. You default colour should be the one you set under Enfold->General Styling->Main Content->Main Content font color.

We haven’t had any reports of problems yet, and I can’t see any problems running 5.8 on a local installation. If you want to play it safe, then please update on a staging version of the site first.

It’s not possible to edit that page using the Enfold Layout Builder unfortunately. This might help you out though: https://aspengrovestudios.com/how-to-customize-password-protected-pages/. If not, then you can try searching online for “edit WordPress password page” for example.

Thanks for the update. The FTP login details you posted don’t seem to be working, please check and verify. Also, I see that you are running an old version of PHP on your server, do you have the option to upgrade to PHP 7.4 or higher? You might need to check this with your hosting provider.

Thanks for that. The theme doesn’t support the Austrian German language file which you have selected in the WordPress options. Please select the basic German, or formal German. It should work after that.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. If we could reproduce the problem on 4.8.3 then yes, it might be theme problem. I’m not able to reproduce the problem though, please see private, and we have no other reports of any other users having this problem. The fact that your dev site is displaying different results if you are logged in or not, is not a theme problem either, it’s very likely that your caching plugin is responsible for that. You can easily verify this behaviour if you are logged in, and check the names and locations of the style sheets, then compare the names and locations of the style sheets when not logged in. Like the example in my last reply; that is theme style sheet, but it’s being served from a location which is not generated by Enfold. Note the /cache/min/1/ folder structure.
