Hi Veronika,

Thanks for the update. What exactly did they say is blocking in the theme? It sounds a bit vague to be honest with you. We are not at all familiar with the plugin in question, so you would have to explain how we can reproduce the problem a bit further. We can’t guarantee that we will be able to find a fix for you.

I don’t think this problem is theme related. First off, please try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.6) to see if that helps: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not, then try disabling all plugins, to see if that makes any difference.

Hi Bert,

Thanks for the update. FTP login details are working now, but the WordPress details are still not working unfortunately. Please try logging into WordPress, then go to Users in the menu. Try to create a new user there, and pass the login details on to us. You can use the email in private, just remember to post the login details here in private, so that all moderators have access to them.

Hi Iain,

Thanks for the update. I’m not so sure that functions.php is the problem with you site, it’s likely that the override you are doing on productslider.php is causing this problem. Do you know what exactly you are overriding in that file? We could try try delete it for you via FTP, we’ll keep a copy of the file locally, in case you would want it put back. If you don’t want to do this on your live site, then you can try to copy the site to a staging area, and we’ll try it out there instead.

Hi,

Thanks for the update, and for sharing your findings. The SG Optimiser plugin has been known to cause problem with the theme, if file compression is active under Enfold->Performance. I see that you have this active on your site, but I can’t see any obvious problems with your site at the moment. If you should have any more problems, then please try turning file compression off in the theme.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. The problem went away when I deactivated your caching plugins, and it stayed fixed when I activated them too: https://imgur.com/a/Kd4AlIN. The problem seems to be coming from Hummingbird, so if this problem should happen again, then please try to simply deactivate/activate that plugin.

I removed the CSS for you from your child theme CSS file:
```
#header_meta .avia-icon-pos-left {
  float: none !important;
}
```
The icons are now both floating left. If you put one icon + text in separate spans, it should work as intended after that.

The Video element only support Youtube, Vimeo and locally hosted videos at this point. We might be able to implement support for other sites in the future though.

Hi Iain,

It would seem to me that the issue is not with the customizations, but rather this particular element in the 4.8x versions of the Enfold Theme.
Is that a fair assessment?

If this was a general problem with the element in question yes, but the element works fine when I try it on a test installation. It works as it should when your customisations are removed as well, and we’ve had no other users report the same problem. Could you try to do what I recommended above please?

Hi,

Thanks for the login details. Could you upgrade the account to have admin rights please? Otherwise we can’t access the Customizer. The error messages you posted seems to be coming from Gravity Forms, please try deactivating that plugin to see if it changes anything.

Sorry for the problem. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.8.6) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.8.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

Thanks for the update. We can help you out with updating the theme, if you would like that. If you would, then please include admin WordPress and FTP login details in private. Also please include your purchase code.

If you are having problems with Themeforest/Envato, then you will have to reach out to their support. Our documentation is correct as far as I know, and we haven’t had any reports of other users not being able to find information, or not being able to generate a token at the Envato platform.

Thanks for the update. I’ve tested the Accordion locally, but I haven’t been able to find any problems in 4.8.6, so it might be something which is cached on your installation. If you want us to check it further for you, then just let us know here. We could create a private test page on your site for example. If you want to continue with what you currently have on your site, then hopefully everything will be solved once you update to the next release of the theme.
