November 18, 2022 at 8:58 pm in reply to: Noob to Enfold Theme – What is recommended to update Pages #1373151
Hey oliverwardle,
Enfold comes with its own Layout Builder, that is what we recommend to use. Elementor is not a supported plugin unfortunately.
If you need further help then please post admin WordPress login details in private.

RikardNovember 18, 2022 at 8:55 pm in reply to: Slider no longer goes across the full width after update #1373150Hey STW-ND,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (5.2.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

RikardNovember 18, 2022 at 8:54 pm in reply to: page with Avia Table showing as blank in Edit page #1373149Hi,
Thanks for that. I can’t see any error messages on the page unfortunately, so there aren’t any clues as to what could be going wrong. Does the same thing happen if you activate a different theme? You could also try to duplicate the page, you will need to use a page duplication plugin if you want to try that out.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for that. Please try this for the product page:
.wc_gc_send_as_gift_checkbox input { width: auto; }Then this for the my account page:
.woocommerce-MyAccount-Giftcards-form .wc_gc_redeem { margin: 4px 0 20px 0; }Please note that most of the elements in your screenshot are using default WooCommerce styling. If you were to override that, then it would reflect globally on your site. We can’t target only that section unfortunately, except for the button.

RikardNovember 18, 2022 at 3:59 pm in reply to: Update to Enfold 5.2.1 breaks footer and other child elements #1373116Hi,
You can check why the CSS is not applying on your production site by following these steps:
1. Inspect the element in your browser on your old site.
2. Find the element ID or class
3. Check which CSS is applying to it.
4. Repeat step 1 and 2 on your new site.
5. Check the difference between the two
6. Modify the old CSS with updated classes or ID’s.If ID’s are changed in core files, then the CSS has to be updated accordingly. It doesn’t really matter if the CSS is placed in a child theme or not.
The best way to detect changes after updates would be to perform the update on a staging site first, then you wouldn’t introduce problems on your production site. You could also check the theme changelog and check if any of the ID’s or classes you are targeting in your custom CSS has been changed. Please note that ID’s and classes rarely change though.

RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. The problem is likely coming from your child theme then, could you try to remove everything from it, then add your customisations back one after one to see when things start breaking? If you could share server error logs with us, then we could likely see what line of code is causing this problem.
Best regards,
RikardHey daineax,
You can add an ID or class to the button in the element options, under Advanced->Developer settings. You can then target your custom button like this:
.your-button class .avia-button { color: red; font-size: 24px; background-color: green; }Best regards,
RikardHey daineax,
You can add a custom class or ID in the element option, go to Advanced->Developer Settings. Your class will be added to the container element, so if you are looking to target the image, your CSS would look like this:
.image-class img { padding: 10px; }Best regards,

RikardHi,
You need to add something to the widgets under Appearance, otherwise the theme will show default content.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
You can try the version in private, I can’t say if it will work with the current version of WordPress though. Note that the PHP version you are running is not supported by WordPress either.
Best regards,
RikardHey clause2,
Did you check your settings for the custom 404 page in the theme options? Make sure that your home page is not set there. Also please try activating each option and make sure no page is selected in either state.

We haven’t had any other users report this problem, as far as I’m aware. If you need further help, then please include admin WordPress login details in private.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. You can see all installed themes under Appearance in the WordPress menu. If you want to use your child theme, then it has to be the active theme.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for that. Please make sure that you have set the correct menu as your main menu under Appearance->Menus.

RikardHi Slawek,
The latest version of Enfold is 5.2.1, and you can download it from your Themeforest account. Please follow this if you haven’t registered your theme license: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. If you don’t intend to override any core theme files, then you don’t need a child theme. We do recommend that you install one any way though, since you might need one in the future.
I’m still not sure I understand this question, why do you need to move content from old pages into demo page? I had a look at the page you are referring to, and that is not created using the Enfold Layout Builder, which would explain the lack of styling.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
The login URL is the same as you posted before, and the error message is still the same.

The stars are added using a background image, but that image doesn’t exist in the location specified. Could you share FTP login details with us, so that we can try to find the image in question. Also, which plugin is adding this?
I tried the WordPress login details, but they don’t seem to be working. Please check and verify.

RikardHi Marius,
Thanks for the update. It shouldn’t necessary to overwrite your child theme, unless you are overriding header.php or footer.php? If that is the case, then please replace those files with the parent theme files, then add your customisations back in after that.

The content with this text; testen centreren RAADHUIS BARENDRECHT looks exactly the same as the content below it on my end. We can’t tell you where the CSS is coming from if you have active caching and/or minification unfortunately.
Best regards,
RikardHey rackdc,
Thanks for the login details. I’m not sure I sure I fully understand your first question, could you try to explain what you need help with a bit further please?
The child theme needs to be activated under Appearance in the WordPress menu.
I see that you are running a very old version of WordPress, is there a reason for that?

RikardNovember 17, 2022 at 4:45 pm in reply to: Site is fine when logged in, all color sections "blow up" when not #1372969Hi,
Thanks for the update. I could see the problem before, and I saw that the browser was looking for a file which didn’t exist. I don’t see the problem any more though, and the error message is gone, both in my regular and private browser window. Could you try checking again please? I didn’t change anything, so it’s likely that the cache was removed or expired.
Best regards,
Rikard -
