Ah I see. Reviewing previous threads what you mentioned above is in fact the case in that styles.css will work if compression is turned off. This is something that will likely need to be addressed by the devs in future updates.

How did you build the blog posts? When you use the Layout Builder for posts then you will have to set the excerpt manually. If you can’t see the field in your posts then please click Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen and select it there.

How did you build the posts? The full post will be displayed when using the default editor but not for the advanced layout editor.
