    Hi Andy,
    yes I know that. Can you lend a hand how this works in your gallery?
    So does wordpress or your theme chose a smaller cropped images
    when I use a picture bigger than your enfold gallery container?
    And does wordpress the resizing inside of this container or
    does enfold programing (css or html) is responsible for having
    that phenomenon?
    Thanks
    Stephan

    Hey Team,
    so can you pls lilft my thoughts up to the next step.
    What I still see is that gtmetrix point to images that are not used in the page consciously.
    For example the image below – you O N L Y can see on the page attached but NOT in the size mentioned
    by gtmetrix.
    So I assume ENFOLD takes one of the pictures created (for e.g. 450×450 to fit in the container used in this page, right?
    The picture uploaded originally is 1500×1000 and the four additional previews of the image are nearly that size (range from 1500×922 to 1500×1026). So does Enfold use smaller created images for example in the gallery, especially for the preview which are squared, by 450×450 and scale them down by css to 175x175px?
    What I need to find out is the logic behind and where the image is used gtmetrix refer to. WP Smush already optimized 19 different sizes per image but not the origin as it is above 1MB.
    Can you help?
    Thanks for lending a hand. You are awesome.

    Hi Basilis,
    I already installed it and did go through all the steps from Ismael.
    What is this information of gtmetrix point to.
    I am familiar with html, css and are online-publisher for years.
    If you could direct me first I think I can fix that.

    Hey Basilis,
    any suggestion here how to go the next step?
    Thanks for helping out.

    in reply to: Resized Images NOT USED lead to VERY SLOW performance #740336

    Hi Basilis,

    we updated theme to 3.8.4 and WordPress to 4.7.2.
    So GTMetrix still displays a lot of serve scaled images in 450×450 which are obviously resized to 175×175
    but not used in our page.
    I understand that the program uses this for responsiveness but I don’t get this when images like the following list isn’t used directly on the page. Can you help?

    in reply to: Resized Images NOT USED lead to VERY SLOW performance #737002

    Hi Ismael, thanks for your response. What do you mean by Broken? Sounds somehow incomplete :1). No, it’s not used as a blog page. Is there a correlation why gtmetrix find not directly used pics which are minimized by css?

    I can run the updates for sure.

    P.S. the image is only used on this site attached

    Thank you mate. This helped.

    Hey Ismael,

    still have some understanding problems about displaying an image for best view in a fullwidth header.

    LAYER-SLIDER
    I use an image lets say 1366 x 466 with a logo to the very left and a persons face to the very right. When I choose this image in a layer fullwidth 100% I neither can see the logo in full nor the face in full in a browser resolutin for 1366×768. This is something I do not get. Then I thought about using it in a layer as the bottom layer. Then I have always a white vertical bar of around 50pixel to the left, although layer settings are: top:0px; left: 0px. How can I fix this as I see you sometimes use header images of 1920 x 1280pixel, which are even bigger and it works somehow.

    SECOND ISSUE: LETS SAY I USE A COLOURED SECTION
    When I choose a background here, I can adjust it in the SECTION LAYOUT with Section Minimum Height (&Section Padding) and in the SECTION BACKGROUND with Background Image Position.

    Lets say I have an Image of around 1272×300 – I cannot see it in full by a browser resolution of 1366×768 with NO MINIMUM HEIGHT!
    So I choosed to change it to At least 50% of the browser window height – and still I cannot see it in full. So I changed it to a custom pixel height of 350 – the crazy thing is: instead of showing more of the image itself, it seems that the image is zoomed and the background image is still not to be seen completely.
    What’s the point here?

    Would be great if you can assist.

    Thanks Stephan

    Gangster. This is awesome Ismael. Thank you soooo much for your support.
    This works great. Could be an idea for the future to automate this last step by
    getting the id of the first and last product which is activated (probably a little bit more tricky).
    Awesome.

    Again – you are great guys. Thanks.

    in reply to: Back and forth – Button – Product Preview #621051

    Hey Ismael,

    for sure. You see in the last product there is only an arrow to the left side (product before) and you see in the fist product there is only an arrow to the night (next product) but you do not see an arrow on the opposite site.

    What I want to have is pointing from the last product to the first product and from the first product to the last product with the mssing arrow.

    Thanks for helping out.

    Hey Yigit,

    thanks for helping in this. Did the change and replaced the code, but it had
    no influence on the HOME portfolio – page (ID 295!

    Hey Ismael,

    thank you so much. This seems to be the solution. This is so great.

    Right in the moment you set the above mentioned page (private content) as the home page
    the hover effect is there. So does your system set this class for the frontpage?
    And do I have the chance to set this functionality for a page
    if it is not the home (front) page by your theme frontpage settings?!

    You are awesome guys. This is the best support out there in stratosphere.
    BTW – can you mark the link in your answer as private as we are in prelaunch mode.

    Thanks.Stephan

    in reply to: Masonry Portfolio order and img hover #616541

    Hey,

    yes for sure – we wanted to have a hover on the frontpage from black and white (default) to coloured (hover) for the portfolio pics.

    It works perfectly in the test version (you find the links attached) but for some reason it doesnt in the live version.

    I dont know if this relates to the issue but
    codeable did something for us with Custom (fields) options and for some reasons it doesnt appear in the edit area for frontpage in the LIVE version but in the TEST version on the right.

    So I wondered if Ismael deleted or deactivated something for the portfolio-order-issue that leads to the status of disabled hover effect in the LIVE version.

    Hope it gets clearer.

    Thanks Stephan

    Hi Yigit,

    Killer! That works brilliant. Thank you so much. Made my day.

    Any idea on issue one – this hover thing?

    We had that working from black and white to coloured as it is in TEST
    but it’s gone and probably its just a simple setting.

    Thank you so much.

    in reply to: Masonry Portfolio order and img hover #616478

    Hey Ismael,
    that is great! Thank you so much. Awesome job.
    Did you do anything else with portfolio?
    What I found out is, that our hover from black & white to color is gone
    for all the pics at the front.
    For some reasons our programmed feature from codeable with
    custom (fields) options doesn’t appear at the edit mode of our frontpage.
    I don’t know if this causes the effect, but you can see it works
    in our test mode.

    ————————
    And you would do me a great favour to help me on that
    damn css code for footer widget 2 and 4 to supress that
    image overlay behavior with hover – as this doesnt work:

    .textwidget a image-overlay:hover {
    display: none !important;
    }

    in reply to: Masonry Portfolio order and img hover #614640

    Hi, ok,

    my fault to answer two question in one topic.

    Is there anybody who could help me fast on the main issue, that the portfolio order in masonry doesnt work and check in in the live version. URGENT

    ———–

    Thank you Andy for helping out in issue two but the code
    avia_transform a .image-overlay {
    display: none !important;
    } works on the whole page to not display the overlay and
    .page-id-295 .avia_transform a .image-overlay {
    display: none !important;
    } doesnt work at all to supress the overlay

    Best Stephan

    in reply to: Masonry Portfolio order and img hover #611825

    Hey Ismael,

    for the overlay I think it has to do something with that

    .avia_transform a .image-overlay {
    display: none !important;
    }*

    Is thar right and can I specifiy that somehow for only the pic on the frontpage in footer widget 4 and not for the whole page.

    Thank you so much for working on the portfolio order in parallel.

    in reply to: Masonry Portfolio order and img hover #611816

    Hey Ismael,

    this is strange. Got in contact with the provider about this.

    Can you pls try to check in at our LIVE-System (link attached) with the same login credentials and the same prob here.

    AND PLEASE CAN YOU (IN THE MEANWHILE) HELP ME WITH THAT LITTLE FOOTER WIDGET 4 HOVER ISSUE
    that is adopted from the general picture behaviour. I want to supress it for the pic in footer widget 4. Just have a link to another site, without that overlay.

    Thank you so much.

    in reply to: Masonry Portfolio order and img hover #611082

    Hi Ismael,

    yes – I know that and I checked them. They are all numbered from 0 up to 81. This is what I say.
    And if you pls just take the white and grey teaser pics, they are not in the right order and so do others too.

    This seems to be when I choose numbers smaller then ALL or TOTAL.

    The option in masonry is on ORDER by PAGE ORDER

    Best Stephan

    Hi Ismael,

    crazy. Is it that plugins write directly into the public.css? Thank you so much for helping out.
    THIS IS AWESOME.

    Hey Vinnie,

    you are free to check the settings. Nothing changed and I am using the child theme from the beginning.

    You have access to the testversion before UPDATING and liveversion after UPDATING.

    You already have the LOGIN-Details but I will give the data again.

    Thanks for helping out.

    in reply to: Masonry Portfolio order and img hover #609717

    Hey Ismael,

    sorry – that doesn’t make sense in my head by now. There is and was a numerical order in the portfolio items and in the masonry options you can see on the attached png ORDER by PAGE ORDER – so help me why portfolio pic with order no. 20 isnt the picture on postion 20 at the front. And why for example the white teaser pic is repeated (first in 8) in picture on positon 75 from 82 complete.

    Don’t get – be patient with me :-).

    Best Stephan

    in reply to: Masonry Portfolio order and img hover #608482

    Hey Andy,

    updated the version but still have these two issues.

    The order isn’t aligned with the order in the portfolio and the hover of the footer widget 4 is still there.

    Can you lend a hand.

    Thanks Stephan

    in reply to: Masonry Portfolio order and img hover #607484

    Hey Ismael,

    thanks for direct response, but what options does this offer? Isnt the page order already there, when I send you this pic (attached).

    I added your code to the functions.php of the child theme but there is no real difference.

    AND THE MAIN PROBLEM IS STILL THERE – THE ORDER IS BY ACCIDENT when I say: SHOW 20 and LOAD MORE.

    LOOK AT PIC NO. 22 and 23. Is the same portfolio pic. If you choose any other option than the complete number the displayed order is by accident with repeats.

    How can I fix that?

    And would be nice if you can pick up the footer widget prob as well.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH ISMAEL. APPRECIATE YOU SUPPORT IN ANY WAY FROM THE HEART:

    yes sure,

    Thanks for lending a hand.

    in reply to: Customize elements like Cart button with CSS #602677

    Hey Jordan,

    thank you so much for introducing to the process.

    So I changed the font-size and found out that the symbol becomes bigger but the square was at 46×46 and stayed, so it didnt look good.

    I want to have a padding of 10 pixel around

    Then I used a different inspector and saw and changed that to:
    .cart_dropdown {
    height: 60px;
    width: 60px;
    line-height: 66px;
    }

    But now the cart-icon is not centered but more to the top.

    Any idea how to fix it.

    Thanks Stephan
