  • Hi,

It’s not customizations it’s getting your theme to work properly with the latest versions of the plugins the theme requires… If an update of the theme was released to support the changes made my WooCommerce then we wouldn’t be doing this and wasting each others time trying to find a “bodge” fix for the issue. Once again the provided code hasn’t fixed the issue, please can you do the testing before sending me the code as I need the issue fixed, it is my business that relies on my website and I don’t want to lose customers from it looking unprofessional.

I look forward to your reply.

    Kind regards,

    Perry Newman.

    Hi,

I have tried the code you provided and removed the width from the relevant piece of code but I am still experiencing the same issues.

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I have disabled the W3 Total Cache plugin, please let me know when I can activate it again.

    Thanks.

The images are still stretched and do not look right… look at my website on a mobile device…

    Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I have added the additional CSS code which has fixed part of the formatting but a few issues are now occurring, I have found that some of the additional picture thumbnails are now stretched and when looking on a mobile device the additional product image thumbnails are really tiny.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I would love to say the product gallery is working as it should but unfortunately it is not, please see the private content of this message for links to see the issue I have.

You will see on the live site before the 3.0 release of woocommerce the product gallery is much more organized than what I now have using the patch you provided.

    Kind regards,

    Perry Newman.

    Hi,

It’s not about upgrading or adding features, all we want is it the theme to work as expected when we all originally bought it… I’m sure you are aware that since WooCommerce has brought out version 3 of their plugin there have been some issues and all we are asking is for these features be fixed so that the theme works as it should when we purchased it.

    Kind Regards,

    Perry Newman

    Hi,

That is a thread which I previously created and you said that you would forward the request from myself and all Replete customers to Kriesi for an update of the theme but I have not heard a response since?

    Hi,

I was going to open a new thread but as my question has been asked by somebody else (quite some time ago may I add) I decided to get an update on the issue here.

Can you please provide not only myself but all of your other Replete theme customers with information as to when we will see an update for the theme that fixes the problems that quite a few people have posted within the Replete section of the forum.

I look forward to your reply and the release of an update that we have been requesting for a very long time.

    Perry.

    Hi Jefe_Apache,

I take it you are using WooCommerce for your e-commerce shop. If so you want to look for a plugin that allows you to add custom product personalization fields to your product pages.

Here is a plugin suggestion for what you are trying to achieve: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-product-addon/

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Victoria,

Correct he did reply but if you take a look at the site on a mobile phone device the telephone number does not appear responsivly which is what the reply above is regarding, I want to get the telephone number as seen on the desktop website above the logo when on a mobile phone.

    Thanks.

    Genius!

Worked perfectly, finally you will see on my website which also relates to another thread I created (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/header-telephone-number/), I have the telephone number of the business above the search box, is it possible to have this above the logo when viewing on a mobile device?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

It was long time ago that I started this thread and at the time I wasn’t using the responsive layout function in the theme options, since activating it I have come across an issue where the the payment method image is overlapping the company logo when displaying on a mobile phone device (there are no issues when viewing on a computer).

    Please see private content.

    I hope you can help.

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply – as you stated patches necessary are things like support for the new WooCommerce gallary features which are not supported by the current version of theme unless you add the code provided by yourself above (which doesnt actually fix the gallery properly may I add to how it originaly worked before the update in WooCommerce took place), also the issue again added above which causes the similar products font size to show bigger then it should.

I find it wrong that I should have to purchase the theme that is currently being updated because replete is not, I purchased replete because I like how it looks but sadly at the moment it isnt working how it did when I purchased it.

Myself and other users of the theme I’m sure would appreciate if Kriesi could add support for these features so that we ourselves and new customers that purchase the theme don’t have to do this either (there are many comments on the themeforest product page of the theme asking the same thing).

I hope you understand and Kreisi can fix these issues promtly.

    Kind regards.

    Great, thank you!

Also as you are most probably aware, there are a lot of people wondering when there will be an official update release for the theme that supports the changes made by WooCommerce – What information do you have regarding this as the theme hasn’t been updated in quite some time.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Still no luck, upon inspecting the elements affected on the related products section of the site I noticed that the titles are currently displaying as H2 but they should be H3, when changing this on inspect in google chrome it stops them from showing in the larger font, how would I configure this so that they display as H3 throughout the site?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Thank you for the reply, I added the css code you provided to the quick css in the styling tab of the theme options but it hasn’t made any changes.

    Please advise.

    Hi,

Thank you for fixing the issue, can you tell me why this happened?

Also I have noticed that the similar products at the bottom of the product page is still showing in a large font size, what would be causing this?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

And yep it shows the image as it would be on the site.

I could possibly put it live on another domain so you could have a look, would that help?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I added it into the “functions.php” file at the bottom, this time it saved without showing any syntax but the image hasn’t shown on the header? I changed the code to this:

     function add_custom_header_message(){
    	echo '<div class="custom_content"><img src="(website url)/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Payment-Methods-Header.png"></div>';
    }
    add_action('ava_main_header', 'add_custom_header_message');

the (website url) is the file directory on my MAMP server, Hopefully you can work it out :)

    Thanks

    Hi,

This time I got this error?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘http’ (T_STRING), expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in (website url)/wp-content/themes/replete/functions.php on line 313

    Many Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply :) I pasted it into the top of ‘functions.php’ under ‘global $avia_config;’ and this error appeared when I saved the file?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘http’ (T_STRING), expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in (website url)/wp-content/themes/replete/functions.php on line 6

^Currently running on ‘MAMP’ server as I’m testing it before I put it live.

    Thanks

    Perry
