    Hey Ahmed,

    You’ll need to add the following code to line 40 in single-portfolio.php right after the “get_template_part( ‘includes/related-portfolio-posts’);” line.

    //wordpress function that loads the comments template "comments.php"
    comments_template( '/includes/comments.php');

    Hi n0gear,

    First Open the style.css page located in the display theme folder. These will work along side the Display – Light skin you can select in the Display Options menu. If you want to edit one of the other styles, you can do so in display>css>style1.css, style2.css or style3.css and modify them directly for your needs.

    1. Starting on line 16 you will modify:

    #footerwrap, #subpage #footerwrap{
    background: #222;
    }

    2. Starting on line 153 modify:

    #footer{
    color: #cbcbcb;
    }

    If you need to modify the link color for the footer you will also need to change the following starting on line 166:

    #footer .box ul li a, .wrapper #footer .box .recentcomments{
    border-bottom:1px solid #4a4a4a;
    background: transparent url(../images/skin1/bullet_grey.png) left 11px no-repeat;
    }

    #footer .box ul li a:hover{
    background: #262626 url(../images/skin1/bullet_grey.png) left 11px no-repeat;
    color:#fff;
    }

    3. Starting on line 214 you’ll need to change the styles:

    .wrapper a, #main #sidebar .textwidget a{
    color:#777777;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #ff9000;
    }

    .wrapper a:hover{
    border-bottom: 1px solid #666;
    color:#ff9000;
    }

    Hope this gets you in the right direction.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hi Kmercer75,

    I wasn’t able to reproduce the error on my end. Please download install the latest version (1.2.1) and see if that fixes it right away.

    If you are still getting the error, disable any plugins that you have running. If this fixes the issues, re-enable each plugin one by one to see if the issue is plugin related.

    If you are still getting the menu error we’ll take another look and see if we can get it sorted out.

    Hi Aaron,

    I’m not sure about a video, but in the Theme Documentation for Woo Commerce step 7, gives you the basics on adding a simple product using the woocommerce plugin.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Mark,

    I just looked over the links you provided and it appears you have sorted out the display issue. I’m going to go ahead and update the status to Resolved. Please correct me/respond if the issue hasn’t been resolved so we can address it for you.

    in reply to: main navigation bar #63620

    Hi Debbie,

    The div you will actually want to affect is “wrap_all”. If you add the following to your custom.css file it should get rid of the solid white background that is preventing your header image from showing through.

    #wrap_all { background: none; }

    This may cause an issue if you decide to add a larger background image or pattern later as it removes the overall white background of the wrapper for the page content areas.

    Hi Artbyarch,

    Could you clarify what you mean for me, I’m not quite sure I understand what you would like to do.

    Thanks,

    in reply to: portfolio post page image size #63606

    Hi Gmartin,

    I followed your link and it looks like you might have gotten the issue sorted out (definitely correct me if I am wrong here!).

    As for the difference between slideshows, galleries and portfolios:

    Portfolio is a custom post type to easily create a top level group for your Portfolio Items (such as CSS, HTML, ART, PAINTING’s etc). Each of these items can have one single image or use the Slideshow functionality with multiple images (ex: http://bit.ly/AyyPAQ)

    The Gallery post type doesn’t really differ from the standard post type. With a Gallery post, images will not be cropped to have the same height and width.

    I hope this helps!

    Devin

    Hey Ernexto,

    Could you provide a link to your site (if you have it live) so I can take a look at what is happening.

    Thanks,

    Hi Unfrozenmind,

    First, make sure you have the most recent version of both WordPress and the Display theme installed. If updating these this does not solve the problem, disable any plugins you might have installed and running with Wordpres. If none of that works, respond here and we’ll continue to troubleshoot the issue.

    in reply to: site map pluggin #62068

    Hi Boudoirs,

    I’ve marked this as ‘Not a support question’ as it doesn’t fall under support. I did a quick google search for Site Map pluggins and WP archive-Sitemap generator looks like a pretty simple plugin for what you are asking.

    Link here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-archive-sitemap-generator/

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Fantasy,

    I’m not quite sure what it is you are asking. Could you elaborate a bit on what you would like to do and then I’ll see if we can get this sorted out for you.

    Hi DembroDental,

    I just took a look at drdembros.com and it looks like you got the woocommerce plugin working successfully. I’m going to mark this as resolved unless you have any other issues.

    Thanks,

    Hi Dannywoute,

    Could you try re-installing the latest version of the theme once again? If that doesn’t fix the issue, please let me know and I’ll look into it further.

    in reply to: Contact Page #63561

    Hi Joaoguerrinha,

    Within the Flashlight Theme Options panel (located in your admin sidebar) there is an option to specify the Contact Form Page and then a field for the email address you would like the contact form to be sent to. You will want to use the drop down menu to select the contact page you have created.

    in reply to: Add a widget to content area #63550

    Hi Marja,

    Unfortunately the theme is written so that the smaller articles will always display in groups of two.

    Alternatively you could add a new div before the doubleentry class within the index.php to display a banner between the large article posts and the smaller entries but it would not be integrated like you indicated in the image.

    Devin

    Hi Unique1,

    I could not locate the blog page on kbctech.com. Could you provide a link directly to the directory where you have attempted to install the Broadscope theme into WordPress?

    If you have are having issues installing WordPress, the WordPress codex located here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress is a great resource.

    Thanks,

    Hi Bartvandenbelt,

    Do you have any plugins running along with the blog? If you do, could you try disabling them and seeing if you continue to have the same issue.

    In the mean time I will see if I can reproduce the error.

    Thanks,

    Devin
