This might narrow down the issue:
The bug occurs when you enable the checkmark labeled “Use the description to create a Text Block…” when creating a mega menu within Appearance > Menus in WordPress. I had a paragraph in there and it seems to complain when the <p> tags are inserted. I tried <span> and it also bugs out. I just stripped out the description and it works fine now, even without the Yoast SEO plugin.

This is a problem with the Shoutbox theme right out of the box. I have tried installing several Facebook Open Graph plugins for WP but no luck.
Looking forward to some help…May 3, 2012 at 4:45 pm in reply to: Sharing articles on Facebook displays wrong article excerpt #73832February 18, 2012 at 12:42 am in reply to: How to remove slider controls from featured slider on homepage? #62631February 14, 2012 at 4:26 pm in reply to: How to remove slider controls from featured slider on homepage? #62630
Hi Chris, no worries about the delay. Sorry, I was modifying the site and forgot to activate the page for you. If you visit http://126.96.36.199/~frestest/fsndemo/2012/01/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) – (Purchase code hidden if logged out) / , you will see that I have 4 photos in rotation at the top of the story. The functionality is exactly what I want, but my question is:
How can I completely remove the previous/next/play buttons (and cross-fading functionality) from the homepage featured slider so that it only shows up on the inside page? Whenever I modify the CSS or use display:none it removes it from the inside page too — which is not what I want to achieve.
Hope that makes sense.February 6, 2012 at 8:11 pm in reply to: How to remove slider controls from featured slider on homepage? #62628
I agree with rumblefish, it’s not very user-friendly. It appears one would have to go into the menu system and update the html code every time you want to do something new. What if I wanted dynamic content in the mega menu that changes when I add a new post or page? Is that currently feasible?
On a side note, you guys did an excellent job on the rest of the theme. Good work!
I found out where to activate the mega menu, but now I don’t know how to get content to show up in it (like the demo on http://kriesi.at/themes/shoutbox/)
Can you offer some assistance on how I can get photos or content to display in the mega menu? It’s not in your documentation.
