my site address is http://www.beautykitchen.com.au. I also noticed that there is no place now to add the description that sits below the page name….just not there.
Hi Mya – no as I don’t what that means. Somehow i have built 4 beautiful sites using Kriesi’s templates without any code knowledge (or my way around the backend on the host login) but this one just won’t load via WP even tho i am doing everything the same. yes – dble unzip.
Dude – This link is no longer working to help people upload their zipped file. I have been going round in circles in your forum & Envato/Themeforest & my hosting company for 3+ hours trying to upload the Abundance theme to my WordPress site hosted by Crazy Domains in Australia. I have used your themes 4 time previously and have not had an issue as extensive as this. I am getting a notice saying the “upload file exceeds the max filesize directive in php.ini.’ My hosting company has increased it to 100MB and done everything they can do to make it work. I am unzipping the downloaded zip file and then uploading the next zip file that is about 3.3MB and contains the style.css file. Please help me. tx CIndyJanuary 28, 2012 at 4:02 am in reply to: How to add portfolio gallery images from WordPress's 'Media Library' #59999

tx Chris – do you know if i can keep the posts already written or the image library? I know it will take ages trying to work out how to do that so it would be great to get a quick nod and point in the right direction of how to do.December 18, 2011 at 12:05 am in reply to: can anyone tell me how to edit the home page slider in CORONA??? #58490December 17, 2011 at 1:58 am in reply to: can anyone tell me how to edit the home page slider in CORONA??? #58488
Here is the WP virgin version as it frustrated me too. Find the ‘welcome’ page via your side bar, go to edit, scroll down to bottom of that page and you will see the pics that are on the slideshow. click on one and change. If you fiddle around there you will see how to change the heading, copy lines etc.
Hope that helps.
Sorry but i have no idea what you mean. Are you saying start again? Am guessing you mean i go back to my hosting company and ask them to do that as i have no idea where to start? Will all the post & media library, menu/s be retained or am i back to scratch on content. I lost all my dynamic templates this morning as i ticked “Import Dummy data” so feeling at loss. I am new to WP but was creating an amazing site for a first time user.
Thanks for the reply. I already had no plugins activated, however after your message I deleted a new one I had uploaded. There is no difference. The link is http://lukbeautifood.com.au/test/?page_id=836 you will see the images are not loading on this page or any others. If possible I would also like to know how to assign a post to a particular page only – is it using categories/tags/or the template used.???
I hope you understand and can resolve these issues.
