I’ve got 100s of images uploaded in the Media Library that were uploaded pre-Eunoia. I’ve used the ‘Regenerate Thumbnails’ plug in to give me the correct sizes for my images for Eunoia. I was able to recreate all the thumbnails successfully but it doesn’t seem to generate the greyscale versions required for the portfolio. I’ve also tried the ‘Force Regenerate Thumbnails’ plugin with no luck.

Is there anyway to generate the greyscale image version for all of my pre-uploaded images without haven’t to manually re-upload hundreds if images?

I currently have Eunoia version 1.1 installed.

I asked Kriesi to comment on this issue.

    Best regards,

    Any updates?

The quickest thing to do would be to run Photoshop in batch mode and ftp the files over. Photoshop will also add the suffix to the new images it makes and it will process a thousand images in an hour or two.

There is also a plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/thumbgen/ which is a function that creates a duplicate of any image on the fly while applying whichever filters (including grayscale) and saves it on the server.
